📣 Shout Out Time!

Back in April 2023, Amanda and Shannon opened a shop in the Saint John Waterfront Container Village. From the very beginning, they reached out to local creators and contacted me through my website, inviting me to take part in a community-building partnership. I immediately said yes—and over two years later, I can say I’ve never once regretted that decision.

Their passion and dedication to supporting indie and local authors has been nothing short of inspiring. And now, in 2025, they’ve launched their latest venture: The Write Cup Bookstore Cafe, an indie bookstore and café in Saint John, New Brunswick.

It’s clear how much care and hard work has gone into this space. Their energy is unmatched, and they deserve every bit of success that’s come their way. My only regret? I haven’t yet had the chance to visit in person for a book signing—but it’s just a matter of time.

For now, I’m sending them a huge thank you for championing indie authors. The writing community needs more people like Amanda and Shannon—committed, supportive, and generous.
